Orbital Mechanics Extension Material
Not Required for HSC
I have added this section as extension material for those who may be interested in the calculation of orbital paths of satellites. This material is not required for the HSC. Orbital Mechanics I provides an example of how you would calculate the path of a satellite given one initial position vector and one initial velocity vector. Orbital Mechanics II provides a complete derivation of the standard orbital mechanics equations from Newton's 2nd Law.
